Lot Improvements

The first impression of Points West Resort is pride of ownership.  A significant investment of time and money by Owners is evident throughout the park.  Before proceeding with new development, it is important to consider architectural, landscaping and maintenance issues.

As in any Municipal community, Points West Resort requires owners to submit a development request to the Property Manager to ensure compliance with the Bylaws, and Policies and Guidelines.  In addition, all development requests must be submitted to the Town of Sylvan Lake after approval from the Property Manager.  Please submit documentation which includes measurements of existing and planned structures for:

  • removal and/or replacement of RV units
  • decks
  • sheds
  • sunrooms/add-a-rooms
  • any other structure.

Underground utilities must be considered before any new planting or digging for:

  • retaining walls
  • tree planting
  • significant gardens or plantings.

Consult the park bylaws, and Policies and Guidelines before planning your new construction.
